The
Buckaroo Heritage Western Art Roundup was started in 1983 by Carl
Hammond. Western & Buckaroo artists & artisans attend annually
to exhibit their "Buckaroo" art; rawhide braiding, silverwork, horsehair
& leather gear, as well as paintings, drawings & sculpture steeped
in Vaquero tradition. Western artists of all genre show & sell at this
judged event - but some of their work should reflect the Buckaroo theme of
"The Roundup." Make plans now to attend the Western Art Roundup over Labor
Day weekend in Nevada featuring a "Quick-Draw," a wine tasting, a fund-raising
banquet (proceeds to the BHWAR), entertainment such as music or Cowboy Poetry,
and even an exciting benefit auction for the Buckaroo Hall of Fame, where
master artists & artisans offer their work to the highest
bidder. Contact
Carl if you would like more
